Privacy policy

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect what you type into the form: your name, how you'd like to be contacted, your phone number and email (whichever you give), city, ZIP code, a description of the problem and your timeline. We also record the page you sent it from, the date and time, your IP address and browser type, and the consent statement you agreed to, so we have a record of it.

Contractors pay us when we send them your request. We don't sell your information to anyone else, and we don't use advertising cookies or tracking scripts.

How we use it

  • To send your request to one independent local drainage contractor who serves your area, so they can contact you about it the way you chose. If no contractor we work with serves your area, we'll tell you rather than send it on.
  • To contact you ourselves about your request, by phone, text or email.
  • To keep a record of your consent and of where requests come from.

Who we share it with

  • The one contractor we send your request to. They pay us for the referral and use your information under their own privacy practices.
  • Service providers that run this website and send our messages, such as our hosting provider, only to provide those services.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it.

Calls and texts

If you choose "call or text" and tick the consent box, you agree that we and the one contractor we send your request to may call or text you about it. If you choose "email only," neither of us will call or text you. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or email us to opt out of all contact; we'll pass your opt-out to the contractor.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep quote requests for up to 24 months. To see, correct or delete your information, email hello@dfwdrainage.com. We can't delete the copy a contractor already received, but we'll tell you which contractor we sent your request to.

Children

This site isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
